The Challenge
Plastic has always had a negative connotation linked to it. With Solo Plastics main customers now looking for a cleaner more environmentally friendly product, they had to change the way they marketed themselves to future-proof the business. A new vision was developed “Fabricating for a better Tomorrow”. Now they needed a new brand and website to reflex this.
The Outcome
Fresh colour palette combined with a mixture of fresh imaginary and product visually showed they had the environment in the forefront of their business model. This was backed up with technically information around the benefits of PE and PVC piping including their recycling benefits. The site was build with an easy to use backend (content management system) which allowed the client to upload content quickly and easily.
Creating a vibe through powerful imagery
The old saying that a picture is worth a thousand words is so true. We used engaging, aspirational images to create a feeling of respecting the environment.
Illustrations
Illustrations were developed using the solo logo mark. Each icon represented a benefit that PE and PVC had over materials used in the market.
Hundreds of products in one place
To make sure we didn’t overload the user will will hundreds of products all on one page, we add multiple drop down. Each section contain imagery, information and the option and to download a brochures. All while staying search friendly.
Fully responsive
With the sales team out on the road or on site, the Solo website need to work seamlessly on all devices. With the use of large headlines and imaginary the site has the same impact on mobile as it does on desktop.
Creating a new website is no easy task, but working with FutureLab made IMG’s far easier. Nothing was ever a problem and no query to big or small we look forward to continuing to work with them in the future as we develop the website further.
