Working on cool start-up projects with innovative people is one of our favourite things at FutureLab. It’s so satisfying to see a new idea take shape and to use our expert web skills to bring it to life. NZ Bag It is a start-up aiming to reduce plastic in NZ and we reckon that’s pretty awesome.
The Outcome
NZ Bag It are ready to launch onto the New Zealand start-up scene equipped with a slick website that highlights their product showcase and makes it easy for customers to send in their enquiries. The website is customised to NZ Bag It’s needs, with a focus on sharp design while making the website easy to navigate on both the front and backend. We look forward to seeing this exciting company take off in the NZ market.
Challenge
Ecommerce retailer, Class Furniture, wanted a new website design that would elevate their web presence while retaining their branding elements. All the intricate design nuances had to harmoniously gel and render a hearty welcome to customers.
Improving website performance and purchases were critical objectives for the NZ business. Our client was keen on capturing customer attention by enhancing user experience through an innovative web feature. Nestled within the graphic elements of the website, the new feature would enable customers to view product information effortlessly.
Furthermore, Class Furniture wanted to:
- Upgrade the website navigation to help users find products without any hassle
- Improve product purchase experience by reducing decision-making time
- Enable integration with Accredo, ensuring every sale is submitted to the accounting system
- Simplify content management, making it easy to view product information
- Improve website speed and structure for a better Google ranking
Outcome
The new website wore a contemporary, vibrant look - a significant makeover from the old website. The professionally-shot furniture pictures hosted on the website exemplify the dimensions of colour and style in a grand way. The fun, energetic and comfortable vibe echoes through all the pages of the website.
By rebuilding the theme to a standard WordPress one with an extension matching Class Furniture Solutions branding. This means that the Class Furniture Solutions theme will have long-term support from the community, and changes would apply to "child theme" modified based on determined needs.
Challenge
Brews Liquor Stores is a new liquor store franchise operating in the North Island of New Zealand. Brews approached FutureLab Digital, a web development and graphic design Auckland based co. to develop a simple website in a short timeframe. The main purposes of the website would be to promote the weekly product specials and to provide store location information.
Outcome
Our web design team worked to build a modern, UX-friendly website for Brews Liquor Stores. As a result, Brews, now, have a strong online presence cemented with social media and email marketing strategies. Their branding is fun and engaging for their target market. Furthermore, the website helps drive brand awareness and consumer purchasing in-store.
About this Project
FutureLab had the pleasure of working with a Takapuna born-and-bred company over the last couple of months.
Flower Wholesalers Takapuna have been in the business for 30 years this year – and they’ve never moved from their original shop front on Barrys Point Road, Takapuna! We reckoned that was a pretty awesome achievement and we were stocked to help the company update their online presence.
Flower Wholesalers are open to the public, selling flower bouquets online and selling loose flowers in-store on Barry’s Point.
Their original website was built in Joomla!, and it was due for a refresh. The website didn’t match the company’s logo or colours, and didn’t stand out online due to many florists getting online and specialising in flower deliveries.
Creating a new website is no easy task, but working with FutureLab made IMG’s far easier. Nothing was ever a problem and no query to big or small we look forward to continuing to work with them in the future as we develop the website further.
