Challenge

Jacobsen, a large NZ flooring importer and distributor, wanted to showcase their Studio range with a dedicated website. The website acts as a product portfolio, plus allows users to add ranges and colours into a ‘My Collections’ feature, which can then be printed out and taken to a stockist.

Outcome

A happy blend of complex functionality and clean design make the Studio website a success. The website is designed to facilitate shopper purchases in-store with stockists and raise the brand profile of the Studio range. The website makes it easy to research the perfect flooring products ready to order in-store.

The “My Collections” Customisation

The My Collections feature is highly customised for Studio. It allows users to select multiple colours and products ranges and then add these to a personal, session-based ‘My Collections’ section. Once the user has finished browsing, their favourite products can be printed out to take in-store.

Studio Flooring Website Design

Dynamic Stockist Database

The list of stockists on the website is also customised and allows users to dynamically select available stockists closest to them. Users can see all the stockists of their chosen products in list and map view, choosing to save and print their preferred stockist’s details for ease of purchase.

Clean, Simple Web Design

With the website allowing users to browse and interact with the flooring products online, we chose to let the products speak for themselves. The web design is sleek and modern with understated colours and clean lines. The beautiful product images take pride of place in the designs.
